Prickly pear jam and syrup – Strawberry tree jam
The prickly pear is a very common plant throughout the Mediterranean basin. Agrisole has a 6,000-square-metre plantation located in a well-sunlit area. Our varieties are mainly “sanguigna” and “sulfarina”.
The strawberry tree is a fruit tree native to the Mediterranean basin and typical of Mediterranean scrub vegetation. The strawberry tree has a prolonged flowering period, which begins in autumn and lasts for much of the winter. Its fruits are excellent for making compotes, jams, for being steeped in spirits with grappa and for flavouring liqueurs. Agrisole offers its staying guests a delicious jam.
